Join Central Civitan for its inaugural 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, October 5th at Historic Collinsville pioneer settlement in Southside TN. Race start time is 08:30 am and the course follows a scenic rural route past houses and farms that wind under shade trees and over a stream to the Cumberland River. From this halfway point the route returns to finish on the site of the pioneer settlement. Awards by age group will be announced at 09:30 am near the start line with the Overall Male and Female winners receiving a cash prize of 35 dollars.

All participants will receive a race packet with a souvenir art piece compliments of Arts for Hearts. Packet pickup will be available on Friday October 4th from 5 to 7 pm at the Central Civitan Club building on Alonzo Place in Cunningham TN, or you may pick up your packet starting at 7 am the day of the race at Historic Collinsville. Registration for the race is open until 30 minutes for the race starts, 8:00am. Payment can be cash, check, or credit card. Remember to pick up your timing chip before the race starts.

Immediately following the 5K please stay and help us celebrate Tennessee Arts and Crafts Week at the Historic Collinsville Artisan Fair. You can tour the historic buildings on site with docents and visit with artists on site for demonstrations and craft making. Use your race bib for a $4 discount on the entry fee to the artisan fair. A variety of crafts, jewelry, pottery, fabric, metal, wood, paints, and photography will be on display. Food trucks will be on site to provide the victuals. Bring your family to enjoy a day in yesteryear and support the community by your participation.
