The Looking Glass

American Fare | Exit 4

The Looking Glass Restaurant is a veteran family-owned business founded in 1998 as a coffee shop and art gallery.  It has transitioned throughout the years into a full-service scratch restaurant and bakery.

As you enter The Looking Glass, you can still feel the influence of the art gallery in the décor and ambiance.  It reflects the many experiences of the owners and includes an Asian “Zen” Garden and koi pond.  The owners wanted to create a space where everyone can enter and escape the world for a while.

The restaurant blends ideas from America and Europe, with a Southern twist. Casual dining features made-from-scratch meals with the European attitude to relax while the food is being prepared. A couple can eat for as little as $20 and no reservations are required, except on special occasions.

We source local produce when available and offers a wide range of dishes to include steaks, Artisan sandwiches, fresh salads, scratch soups. and tasty pasta offerings.  We also offer vegetarian and gluten-free selections.  We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and offer wines and ales.

The bakery offers many delectable cakes, pastries, and cookies.  Everything is baked in-house by our talented pastry chefs.  Custom orders are available by contacting our pastry chefs in advance.
