Liberty Park encompasses 10-acres adjacent to the Cumberland River. A bronze statue of Clarksville native and Olympic Gold Medalist Wilma Rudolph adorns her namesake building near the park's entrance. At the park's north end, Pat Head Summitt Legacy Park overlooks the river just before Freedom Point. This area includes a bronze statue of Pat, along with panels that tell her legacy.

Features at the popular park include a Fishing Pond, Community-built Playground, Walking Trails (total 1.8 miles), 4-Lane Boat Ramp into Cumberland River, 4 Pavilions, Bark Park, Multi-Purpose Sports Fields, the Clarksville Marina and Liberty Park Grill.
