9 Glowing Reasons to Visit Clarksville This Holiday Season

Christmas on the Cumberland opens Tuesday, November 26 with over one million lights in captivating displays along the RiverWalk. This FREE event includes special activities on select weekends and continues through January 1.

 

“A Christmas Carol” opens on Thanksgiving evening at the Roxy Regional Theatre in the heart of downtown. The special Christmas production runs through Saturday, December 22. 

 

Downtown Commons Winter Ice Skating returns to Clarksville Tuesday evening, November 26. The ice rink will be open weekends and other designated times through January 20.

 

Drive Thru Christmas Lights begins at the Clarksville Speedway on Thursday night, November 21, and continues days through January 1. 

 

Erin’s Farm bustles with Christmas activities, including WinterFest on Sunday, December 8. You can also select and cut your own fresh Christmas tree on weekends or attend a glass blowing workshop and blow your own glass ornaments.

 

The city’s 60th Annual Lighted Christmas Parade kicks off on Saturday, December 7 at 5:00 p.m. 

 

SpiritFest is a pre-parade event that includes a bounty of free activities like visits with Santa Claus, rides on the Polar Express, live music, art and gift markets, food trucks and more. This begins at 2:00 p.m. on December 7. 

 

 

More than 20 trees decorate the rooms of the historic Smith Trahern Mansion during Trees of Christmas.
