Clarksville to Host 2017 TN Future Stars Football Games

Clarksville, TN – On the heels of announcing that the city will host the 2017 Toyota East West All-Star Classic, Visit Clarksville officials have landed another state-wide football event for 2017. The Tennessee Future Stars will host their annual Tennessee-Kentucky games for seventh and eighth graders in Clarksville on June 17 at Austin Peay State University’s Fortera Stadium.

Clarksville, TN – The 2017 Toyota East-West Football All-Star Classic will be held in Clarksville, Tennessee at Austin Peay State University on Friday, December 8, 2017. The All-Star Classic is organized by the Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association (TACA) and is made up of the state’s top 88 senior football players who are selected from more than 400 nominations.

Visitor Spending in Montgomery Tops $205 Million in 2015

Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam and Department of Tourist Development Commissioner Kevin Triplett today announced Tennessee tourism’s direct domestic and international travel expenditures reached an all-time high of $18.4 billion in 2015, up 3.7 percent over the previous year, as reported by the U.S. Travel Association. Numbers for Montgomery County increased to $205.1 million, up 1.3% over 2014.
