Be inspired by the works of local artists in a community-wide, self-guided tour of artistic displays at a variety of downtown businesses. This event is produced by the Downtown Clarksville Association, and admission is free. The Customs House Museum & Cultural Center is open with free admission during each First Thursday Art Walk from 5-8 PM.

6 – Civil War Artifact Display

10:00 AM – 3:00 PM | 120 Duncan Street | Free & Open to the Public

Local artifact collectors will display their Civil War collections in the Fort Defiance Interpretive Center. John Walsh from Fort Donelson Relics will bring items that are rarely on display to the public. Also, patrons can bring their historical items to the Fort and learn more about their treasures from the experts. For educational purposes only, no sales.

6 – Warren Wolf, Vibraphone Concert

7:30 PM | 780 Marion Street | $25

Baltimore’s Warren Wolf is an acclaimed jazz vibraphonist known for his sophisticated, exploratory, nearly acrobatic post-bop style that moved one critic to exclaim that “he plays the vibraphone like an electric guitar!” Since 2005, he has been recording as a leader and touring with his groups. His debut, Incredible Jazz Vibes, garnered attention from critics all over the globe.

7 – Sundays at 3:00 – The Galapagos Islands

Join Dr. Jack W. Sites Jr. for a deep dive into the Galapagos Islands. The Galapagos Archipelago remains one of the most ecologically intact oceanic archipelagos on earth, and its unique climate, limited human settlement and relative isolation has resulted in the evolution of unique flora and fauna. Dr. Sites is a retired Professor of Biology and Curator of Herpetology at Brigham Young University and an adjunct Professor of Biology at Austin Peay State University.

9 – Company Cabaret: And the Award Goes To…

Join the Roxy for a special night of music and entertainment, featuring their company of professional actors who come from all over the country. Musical selections will vary from musical theatre to contemporary music, classic standards to holiday tunes. In anticipation of the Tony Award nominations and ceremony, "And the Award Goes To..." will feature some of your favorite songs from award-winning musicals!

10 – Heritage Fest

Heritage Fest will be a celebration designed to highlight some of the unique historical and cultural aspects of Clarksville and the Montgomery County area. Along with panel discussions, Heritage Fest will include demonstrations, representatives from local historic sites, local authors of historical works, genealogy instruction, trivia contests, crafts for the kids, and more. This free program is open to all ages who are interested in the special stories and history of the local community.

11 – Brantley Gilbert: Off the Rails Tour

With back-to-back Platinum albums and a grassroots following millions strong, Brantley Gilbert’s music has been shared, covered, and adopted as the soundtrack to Saturday night and Sunday morning by audiences around the world. 13 – Bach to Broadway

Join the Roxy Regional Theatre for an evening benefiting the GFWC Clarksville Women's Club and their endeavor to raise funds for APSU scholarships. The evening will begin with a reception at 6:30 pm, followed by the vocal stylings of soprano Dr. Penelope Shumate, Assistant Professor of Voice in the Department of Music at APSU, accompanied by pianist Jan Corrothers. Praised by The New York Times for singing with "bell-like clarity and surpassing sweetness," Dr. Shumate will amaze you with her smooth and seamless transitions from classical opera and the stylings of Bach to her take on some of Broadway's well-loved standards.

13 – Historic Collinsville Season Opening

10:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 4711 Weakley Road | $14 for adults, $8 for ages 3-12, free for ages 0-3

Experience 19th-century life as you participate in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (“STEAM”) projects and other activities alongside skilled tradesmen and period-dressed docents. Become part of the past and interact with antiques as you explore the grounds and rooms of the cabins. Move to 1800s music with talented musicians and play games with friends and family. In addition, be one of the first to tour the newly opened Weakley House Museum and see where the founders of Historic Collinsville lived.

18 – A Midsummer’s Night Dream

7:00 PM | 100 Franklin Street | $35 for adults, $15 for ages 10 and under

William Shakespeare’s comedic fantasy consists of several subplots that revolve around the marriage of Theseus, Duke of Athens, and Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons. One subplot involves a conflict among four Athenian lovers, while another follows a group of six amateur actors rehearsing the play which they are to perform before the wedding. Both groups find themselves in a forest inhabited by fairies who manipulate the humans and are engaged in their own domestic intrigue.

19 – Hamlet

7:00 PM | 100 Franklin Street | $35 for adults, $15 for ages 10 and under

The ghost of the King of Denmark tells his son Hamlet to avenge his murder by killing the new king, Hamlet’s uncle Claudius, who has murdered Hamlet’s father in order to seize the throne and marry Hamlet’s mother. Hamlet feigns madness, contemplates life and death, and seeks revenge. His uncle, fearing for his life, also devises plots to kill Hamlet in William Shakespeare’s famous revenge tragedy.

19 & 20 – Leanne Morgan: Just Getting Started

After discovering her passion for stand-up comedy later in life and finding the time and confidence to pursue her dream, Leanne Morgan has cemented herself as a must-watch comedian. Morgan’s comedy has landed her at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and has brought her development deals for her own sitcom with ABC and Warner Brothers, writer/producer Matt Williams (Rosanne and Home Improvement), TV Land, and with Sony Television.

20 – Kid Palooza

Learn all about Jimi's military career. What prompted him to enlist in the army? What did he do in the army? Through Jimi's military records and primary sources, many myths and legends will be revealed and debunked. Join Historical Interpreter William Parker for this unique and seldom offered lecture on a relatively unknown era in the life of Jimi Hendrix.
